My experience : Could this drugstore BB cream be HG material???  Over the years I’ve bought loads of foundations (high end to drugstore) , BB creams and tinted moisturisers all with the hope that ‘finally’, something that would look very natural on me. So did Maybelline ClearGlow made my dreams come true… ??? Lets find out :)

Maybelline clear glow BB cream is gel like, applies so smoothly – a lot of my foundations that’s supposed to be hydrating are almost grainy in texture, and looks really artificial blended on to my skin. This doesn’t for some reason, it just smooths out my complexion and is easily buildable to gently cover up red areas.

It isnt a replacement for a full coverage foundation. This is more like a tinted moisturizer and works best for skin that doesn’t need much in terms of coverage. So this product is not for special days or parties wear you need a full coverage foundation. Though the product claims that it is hydrating, skipping your moisturizer is not an option when you plan on using any BB cream.

On days when I want a bit more coverage I use a primer, some concealer and a bit of luminizing powder. When it comes to application, using my fingers seems to work the best. I almost pat it on my skin rather than rubbing it in. One of the things I love most about this product is how quickly you can apply this product. If you get the right match, you could probably apply this product without a mirror. it just doesn’t streak and won’t settle into dry patches, fine lines or pores. Just like the branding suggests it really does “do it all” and meets every one of its eight proclamations.

It’s so different from the Garnier one and it’s more how I imagined a BB cream to be. It’s not as thick as a foundation and it blends beautifully with fingers.

This is my new daily wear foundation as it looks very natural on skin. My skin looks very healthy and radiant. I ditched my Revlon colorstay and Bourjois Foundation for this. It is oil free and makes my skin look flawless. Strangers stare at me – and this makes me look embarrasingly gorgeous :D

Must try for all those who want subtle and natural looking make up !
