PRODUCT REVIEW ~ Neutrogena – Deep Clean Gentle Scrub
Product Claim : Deep Clean Gentle Scrub contains Beta Hydroxy proven to clean deep down into pores.
This daily scrub deep cleans below the surface, yet is gentle enough to use every day. Microbeads gently exfoliate surface skin while Beta Hydroxy cleans deep into pores for soft, smooth skin. Oil-free, Non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores)
My Thoughts ?
You all know I’m a typical 22yr old with sensitive & very oily skin. I get oily mostly on my T-zone through out the day. I read about this scrub online and gave it a try. Adding this in my night routine really helped. After using this gently scrub, I see neither dryness/tightness after nor any oiliness. My skin just looks and feels NORMAL( great). It does not irritate my sensitive skin and inflammation of acne is reduced.
Keep in mind I have used A LOT of different cleansers/scrubs. Everything from high end to drugstore. The routine below I have tested for nearly 10 months so that I could make a proper statement about it
My night routine includes:
1) The Body Shop tea tree oil wipes.
2) Pears Face wash or Olay sensitive skin foaming cleanser. (alternate night)
3) Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub(every second night)
BnB Tip : Use twice a week in winters.
4) Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Toner.
5) Lancome Hydra Zen Nuit Neurocalm Soothing Replenishing Night Cream (every night , I’m going to review it soon)
Coming back to Neutrogena – Deep Clean Gentle Scrub, it’s gentle on the skin, yet cleanses beautifully, getting rid of dirt and grime and excess oil. The beads in this are fine and grainy which help to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin without being harsh. There is a gentle citrus scent, which isn’t overpowering or strong.
I find that this goes on slightly oily, but don’t be fooled, it rinses off easily without leaving any residue. I also love the fact that this is super cheap for a huge bottle and I only need the tiniest bit each time.
Will definitely repurchase this when I run out
BnB tips : Morning routine is different. I would not recommend using any scrubs or exfoliators in the morning if you use makeup(referring to face makeup). scrubs/exfoliators remove dead skin cells/layers so makeup will have more ability to sink into the skin and block pores.
HAVE YOU TRIED THIS SCRUB ??? WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE SCRUB ???
