My Experience :

The Body Shop Vitamin C moisturiser spf 30 comes in an orange tube, very functional looking.  It is a combination of every day face moisturizer and high SPF, which I couldn’t resist.  I took a chance and switched from my usual tea tree day lotion to the vitamin C in summer and I wanted to use something with SPF.

I always need some protection when I’m going to be out in the sun. Most of the sunscreens feel too greasy, gross and heavy. This one is different …the texture is like a cold cream and easy to apply on your skin. It also gets quickly absorbed in skin just like a facial cream . The tube goes a long way as a “raisin sized” amount is enough to cover entire face.

I do agree that it is not made for very oily skin. I tend to get oily in my tzone after a few hours, but this product has not made me break out. It has a citrusy-orange fragrance, fragrance which freshens me up every time I use it.

On to what’s important. How does it work? It works REALLY well to moisturize! It is amazing on my cheeks, a problem area for me where I often have to layer moisturizer or use an extra think moisturizer. With this I just massage it in and my primer+foundation look perfect! It leaves a slightly dewy, very fresh look.

It goes on light (if it feels heavy or thick, then you are using too much), but if you’re going to put makeup over it, I would recommend using this at least 10 minutes before to give it time to soak in. I don’t recommend using this on wet skin, it just doesn’t sink in. I use this on my face, neck and top of my chest. It works great to keep the Indian sun from ruining my skin without making me smell like an orange.

I use this with the facial cleansing polish and the microdermabrasion. Great combo and Great value!
