My Experience –
Choosing the best blush depends on choosing the right color that would imitate this natural color present in your skin tone. There are no rules in choosing the right blush color, just guidelines. With some simple trial and error along with practice, you will find the right blush for you. :)
Here’s what I think about my latest Rimmel London blush ….
I got the shade “006 Autumn Catwalk”, which has three shades: a stripe of shimmery pale pink, a pale rose shade, and a deeper rose shade. I expected this to come out as a not-so-pigmented plain pink, but it turns out that I was totally wrong! The product is pigmented more then I was expecting which is a good thing! Seems like it would flatter most skintones too. Easy to apply and blend.
The darkest shade in the pan is super pigmented so use gently. The lightest shade can be layered on top or on its own as a highlight. When applied to the cheeks with a light hand, you gain a gorgeous flush of colour.
You can swirl your blush brush in all three colors to get beautiful glowy pink cheeks, or you can just dip it in the darkest rose shade for a bright flush. You can even target the palest pink shade as a cheek highlighter. I use the dark/medium half for contour and use the light/medium half for blending and highlights.
This is a great blush if you are wearing dark lipsticks (mac dare you lipstick !) as it gives enough definition but doesn’t clash with the lip colour. I normally use eco tools kabuki brush and apply to apples of cheeks and blend. It gives you a good flushed look.
Color : This”Autumn Catwalk ” shade is a beautiful rosy ombre trio and would work on most skin tones, it gives that great pinky-peach flush.
Texture: I can say that they are really soft to touch and very easy to blend in. The formula or blush is pressed well and its very smooth.
Pigmentation : It is quite pigmented for a drug store brush.
Staying Power: Lasts upto 6-7 hrs.
Fragrance : Fragrance free
