I’m not sure how, but I seem to have avoided trying Lakme Eyeconic Kajal despite the fantastic reviews online, it’s just not something I’ve thought of buying. Until now. I was shopping online the other day, while surfing through the beauty products and looking for makeup (that I don’t need by any stretch of the imagination!) I spotted Lakme’s addition to Eyeconic range… the Green Kajal.

My Experience ?
I never thought I could love a green eyeliner this much. I’m a die hard black eyeliner fan. I wear it every day on my waterline and lash line. Even though I love rocking this look there are days that it looks too harsh or I just don’t want to deal with cream or liquid liner. So I picked up this beautiful military teal green eye liner. It glides on so smoothly and after about 15/20 seconds does not budge. Every girl needs one colored liner and this one is subtle enough to wear without being too bright or bold.
It amazes me how much I can go on and on about an eyeliner (for God’s sake!) .I hope this review will be helpful to some of you. Let me know if you’ve tried the eyeconic Kajal in Green.
How I Like to Wear It :
About Shade / Color :
Its creamy. No unnecessary tugging on the delicate eye area. You know there are some crap eyeliners out there that make you feel like you’re going to tear your eye off. Not this one. The liner is quite creamy. One of the creamiest I’ve found at the drugstore so it is quite easy to work with.
Formula / Pigmentation :
I totally fell in love with this green liner, not only because the dark green colour is totally stunning, but because the formula of the liner is simply amazing. Great for my sensitive eyes…. No more tears :) About pigmentation – Its really very pigmented. One or two swipes is enough to give me an intense color payoff. Looks bit like a black liner in artificial lighting and pretty dark green in day light.
Staying Power :
It is actually quite water resistant once it is set. It does take few seconds to set. For me, it’s a plus. It gives me time to smudge them along the bottom or top lash lines if I want to. If you have very watery eyes or an oily eye area, this is for YOU. For me, it lasted whole work day on my upper lash line and lasted for 4-5 hours on my waterline without smudging.
Suitable for sensitive eyes or not ? It didn’t irritate my sensitive eyes and I’m comfortable wearing Eyeconic Kajal for the whole day. No watery eyes and no redness. Lakme Eyeconic and MAC fluidline both really suit my sensitive eyes.
Packaging : Very boring but Very convenient packaging. It comes in a 2 Way Twist up format which I love.
Final Verdict : This is a really good liner for the price (and in general). Eyeconic Green Kajal is the standout color for me. Most brands have this kind of color but the formula and lasting power is incredible.
