International Skin Expert Za Finally Arrives in India
April 01, 2014: Over its 142 years, Shiseido has spread its global presence in over 89 countries pursuing its vision of making people’s lives beautiful. The international cosmetic giant marked its entry into the Indian beauty market by establishing their wholly-owned subsidiary Shiseido India Private Limited. This year marks the dawn of a new era in Beauty for India, as Shiseido presents its highly acclaimed brand loved by metropolitan women around the world for its high efficacy, sensorials and elegance ‘Za’ (pronounced zee-ei).
Designated as one of Shiseido’s global mega-brands, Za is available in 12 countries including Japan, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, China and Taiwan amongst others. The brand boasts of its highly innovative and advanced skincare & makeup line-up that is designed especially for the 20-35 year old urban women who desire sophisticated & fashionable beauty.
Za launches in the Indian market in April 2014 and will be available in 250 doors by the end of 2014 in Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Bangalore. Speaking on the launch of the brand, Tsutomu Benjamin Suzuki, Managing Director, Shiseido India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are delighted to introduce Za in India. Shiseido will launch three distinctive lines from Za this year – An advanced Whitening range ‘Za True White’, a Youth Retention range ‘Za Perfect Solution’ and a skincare meets make-up pressed foundation range ‘Za True White Two-Way Foundation’.
