There is something cute about a crayon Lip Balm with Intense Color and named Chubby Sticks. I admit they are little tricky around the cupid’s bow and edges but still the feel good factor after you purchase them in hard to describe. You have to have a heart of stone to be able to resist such a beautiful raspberry pink crayon Lip Balm….

My Experience ?
Something I love about the Clinique Chubby Stick formula is the hydration and staying power! There are many lip products in the market that claim to be moisturizing but the after effects on my lips aren’t worth any price. Clinique Chubby Stick Lip Balm is absolutely different than others. My lips feel great when I’m wearing this Intense colored lip balm and even after it wears off, it keep them in great condition.
When I first started trying out Plushest Punch, I thought it might be TOO bright on me. I started pulling in light pink gloss to create more subtle look. But after further experimentation, I suppose I got more comfortable with the color and lately I haven’t been adding in any additional products.
The lipstick tend to be very full-color, and my lips always look quite beautiful after applying it. In fact, this has been practically the only lipstick I’ve been wearing for the last few days. But it’s not just the colour of the lipstick itself that makes me happy, the pretty bright colored crayon packaging too. I felt the need to blog about it, because I thought it’d be the best for a lot of other people too
Lipstick Shade/ Color :
This new shade looks a bit red in the picture above, but in person , it is a beautiful bright, bold raspberry pink. It has a natural sheen and doesn’t contain shimmer- it’s just a creamy color. The shade is beautiful for daily looks, evenings out or even girls night out.
The texture is beautiful, it doesn’t feather or bleed like most of the creamy bright Lip Color Balms. The creamy texture makes it glide smoothly and evenly on my lips.
Finish/ Formula :
It doesn’t have the usual Chubby Stick formula. Chubby Sticks are known for the hydrating formula but the Intense Range is moderately hydrating. These Lip Balms are emollient without being greasy, and highly pigmented without dragging. It has a full cover color formula and great staying power ( much better than Revlon Matte Balm)
Pigmentation / Coverage :
Chubby Stick Intense range has opaque lip colors compared to the normal Chubby Sticks. Plushest Punch gives full color coverage in just one swipe. Two swipes gives a pretty bold raspberry color. This chubby stick is as pigmented as a regular MAC matte lipstick, but my lips never get dry from this ( extra 5 points for that ).
Staying Power :
For me, it lasts the entire day with eating and drinking. Even after I had four course meal… which of course included brownie and ice cream , it didn’t leave my lips. So you don’t have to worry about touch ups. It lasted on my lips for 8 hours after which it left a beautiful pink stain.
