My Thoughts on Strawberry Body Butter ?
I remember walking in a brightly lit TBS store ( in a confused state ) hoping to get a good body lotion. The SA convinced me to get the strawberry body butter after claiming it was one of their best selling product. Without much thinking I got it and totally forgot about it. Till one fine day when I was running late and had no time to search for my favorite perfume bottle. I thought this pretty smelling body cream would work as a body mist / perfume for me, that’s how this love saga began…
The Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter contains cold-pressed Strawberry Seed Oil which is very high in linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids. These are essential fatty acids and are part of the Omega-3 group. All the ingredients together work to give you a super moisturized bouncy skin. I’ve tried everything on earth to relieve my dry elbows but nothing ever helped me. This Body Butter does the trick and I love the way my skin feels after using it.
I use it on my body after shower and I literally feel I get converted into a strawberry each time I use this, that’s how strong and fruity the fragrance is. The fragrance lingers all day on my skin and I do get compliments on the way I smell ! I find myself using this body butter more in winter even if it gives me summery feeling. Use it after shaving, waxing or when you want extra extra hydration for your skin. It instantly gives life to dull and dehydrated skin.
The texture and consistency is great – it spreads on skin very easily. Just a little amount of product is required for my entire body. If you use too much it can feel greasy, so a little goes a long way. The large tub contains a lot of product that can last up to 1 months even if used daily.
When you turn the jar you get to read the special instructions like NOT for Consumption and I must say do read that instruction carefully because it smells soooo yummy that I have to remind myself that its unfit for consumption . You may also start liking strawberry ice cream, after using this Body Butter…
