Hello Dolls !
Since childhood days I used to excavate lot into Disney characters and movies. Undeniably my favorite character is Belle from Beauty and the Best ( Oops I mean to say Beast ) . So what if I was Belle ? What if I was asked to go and stay with a Beast in an enormous forbidden mansion ? I would have left with no choice because it was me who had ask for that red rose and the monstrous Beast was merciless ….The story will be continued …So just wait for what happens next (you will find out soon in our upcoming articles.)
One of the reasons I liked Belle is because of her simplicity and boundless beauty, simple yet perfect is basically definition of the recently launched The Body Shop Tea Tree BB cream…..

My Thoughts on The Body Shop Tea Tree BB Cream?
This review was pending for a long time, Silly me for thinking, “Oooh, I need to try this for 6 months for a clear skin and then write a review.” Also I might have to admit that when I saw this product first on social media I was like just another BB cream and maybe like other BB creams this too feels heavy on skin for my taste – that’s what exactly what I thought ? But never judge any product from its name. This one is different and I’ll tell you why.
The Body Shop Tea Tree BB Cream is Powered by purifying Community Fair Trade Tea Tree Oil from Kenya, Shea Butter and Citric Acid. Some of the significant benefits of these main ingredients used in the product are : Tea Tree oil is know as one of the excellent treatment for acne and scars. Shea butter is known for its Antioxidant, Anti-inflammatory and healing properties, which can be associated to the presence of large number of fatty acids. Citric acid – helps to add radiance and glow to the skin. The product comes in a very cute tube packaging with a tight cap, making it travel friendly ( these days I travel a lot with it ! ). There are three shades available – 01 Light, 02 Medium and 03 Dark. The Lightest shade 01 is too light and barely visibly and the Medium shade 02 is dark for my skintone. But I found out that mixing 01 and 02 in the ratio 2:1 gives me a perfect shade. But I guess shade 02 will suit most of the Indian Asian beauties.
One of the first thing that you’ll notice is that it provides a very natural coverage, which is all I expect from a BB cream. You can’t hope for a BB cream to cover like a concealer. The main job of a BB cream is to hydrate and give you a natural looking smooth base. As claimed this tea tree BB cream is extremely lightweight cream and perfects my complexion quickly. I’m currently using this with The Tea Tree range ( toner, oil and night lotion) from The Body Shop and together all these products work well to fight blemishes and keep my skin clear.
I also loved the light formula that looks very natural on my skin. Since I’m always running typically late and even if I plan lot of makeup looks in my imagination I hardly get anytime to practically execute them. But this stuff makes my job easy since it blends seamlessly into skin. The texture of Tea Tree BB cream is so buttery smooth just like any rich day moisturizer. I like to use my fingers to apply this, as it spreads easily and quickly.
To make if last longer I set it with my favorite Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. The Staying power depends on your skin type and how well you’ve prepped your face. For a all day beauty queen looks prep your face well and dust some translucent powder. On its own this Tea Tree BB cream looks natural on your skin and perfect for everyday use.
In short I can describe it as a one of the most comfortable, lightweight cream that gives a pretty natural finish.
BnB Rating : 4.5/5
Overall, The Body Shop Tea Tree BB cream is a lightweight cream that provides natural looking coverage. My skin looks great in pictures and there is absolutely no whitish cast on my face. It does not clog pores or cause any breakouts, if used with the other tea tree products it helps to keep skin clear and blemish free. It is one of my current favorites and I absolutely recommend this BB cream to everyone !
