After flooring us with her performances in films like Don, Barfi, and Mary Kom among others, our very own desi girl Priyanka Chopra is set to rock Hollywood! The first look of ‘Quantico’ is out and it looks super exciting!
When I first heard about the news that Piggy chops is doing ABC’s New TV series, I thought she is in for a character roll but it turned out that this pretty girl has actually bagged meaty lead role.
The gorgeous, Priyanka will be seen playing Alex Parirsh who is on her way to the FBI academy Quantico. Alex Parrish seems like a touch nut to crack, unfazed by the usual stereotyping. She is a independent, liberated and not tied down to emotional commitments. She takes her job seriously and wants nothing more than to protect her nation. You can find Alex’s life change due to some drastic turn of events and she is trapped in something bigger than her imagination.
Her chemistry with co-star Jake McLaughlin is steaming hot and is likely to add just the right amount of spark in the gritty story. Bollywood is out on all fours, supporting and cheering for Priyanka as she makes a smashing debut on an international platform.
Priyanka is a woman of many talents. Be it her acting chops or the way she set the music charts afire with her singles, she is free of inhibitions and takes on projects which are a cut above the rest. From playing a glamorous model in Fashion to playing an autistic, unglamorous girl in Barfi she has shown tremendous versatility in her choice of characters. Never the one to bow down to pressure, she also gave us Mary Kom, a challenging project that was executed seamlessly.
