No doubt L’Oreal Paris has the ability to make a craze about their new launches! Even if they are revamped old wine in a new bottle! The Cannes edition ’15 has really got some alluring products and Swarovski lipsticks are one of them. I always love matte lips so I would go for matte team definitely as their theme was matte vs gloss. So today here I am going to share my experiences with Swarovski lipstick in the shade raspberry syrup which is a limited edition.

My Experience with L’Oreal paris moist matte Swarovski lipstick ?
Packaging– The packaging is in a single word is AMAZING!!! This is a special limited edition and original Swarovski crystals are studded on the case. The lipstick case itself has got a gorgeous glossy rose gold finish which is classy enough and Swarovski crystals really really make them to look royal! The case comes in a velvet pouch which is further covered by a black stylish paper box. What more you want from a lipstick packaging than this?
Shade, texture and finish– Well, this is one of those best pinks in my stash. The shade Raspberry Syrup is bright pink with a hint of fuchsia. It is not neonish on lips and definitely perks up the mood instantly. The shade is quite versatile yet bright.
Texture wise it is same as the regular moist matte range and it is really easy to apply them on lips. I never felt any difficulty in applying. But if you apply too many layers it may get patchy. Otherwise it is feather light and I don’t feel that I’m even wearing a opaque lipstick on my lips.
It is matte but not dry matte. As they claim it is very creamy, it leaves a soft semi matte finish with a healthy sheen. It doesn’t accentuate on lip lines initially due to creamy texture but after a long time, it may do that!
Pigmentation and staying power– it is quite pigmented that one swipe gives full color pay off. Second stroke is needed just to make the lips look well prepared. It hides any black patches on lips and dark lips can try this easily.
It stays on my lips around 4-5 hours after which it starts to fade. It can’t stand a meal in the sense, the color gets patchy after meal. Though it doesn’t get vanished totally but it fades from the inner rim of lips after meal or tea. It transfers to cutlery also!
Special attention, girls! – It melts! Yes at this price point you can’t even imagine that your lippie has got melted and even broken! But this is a problem with moist matte range. Do something L’Oreal! Hey L’Oreal, can you hear me? it breaks from the bases if it is kept in direct sunlight or if you carry it in your bag.
It breaks if you don’t handle it carefully but otherwise this is a quite nice lipstick though it is pricey. At least I can die for the packaging. If you are okay with the price tag it comes, definitely try this.
