Lakme Maximum Moisturiser Peach Milk Review, Ratings and Price
~ (Author Debarati)
Spring has knocked the door and from this time we don’t need heavy creams anymore for our face, except very dry skins. Lakme peach milk moisturiser is a very popular product and they have changed its packaging several times! Finally it comes in a nice packaging and I have used this moisturiser years ago. Recently when I was roaming in big bazar with my mom, I did an impulse buy with this!
So let’s see how it fared on my skin!

My Experience with Lakme peach milk-
Packaging- Lakme peach milk moisturiser comes in a cream colored plastic bottle with a flip open cap attached. This is further comes in a peach colored paper box which makes the product more elegant. No doubt we all love that extra covering for any product! Isn’t it? The whole packaging is quite sturdy and travel friendly too. The mosituriser doesn’t tend to leak from the bottle. All the necessary details are written on the outer paper box.
Texture, color and smell of the product– It has got a very faint rosy pink color. Though I love color free creams or moisturisers more, but the color of this mosituriser is very light, so not a big issue for me. The texture is not so thick and not runny too. It provides very smooth application on skin and easily gets synced into the skin. It smells like fresh peaches and I love the rich yet soothing smell of this!
It gets absorbed into the skin very quickly and also provides enough moisturization for oily to normal skin. But this would be not sufficient for dry and dehydrated skin. It not really broke me out but somehow it causes sudden rashes and redness sometimes on my face. The moisturiser itself is very light and doesn’t feel heavy at all on skin. But it doesn’t smooth out my skin and doesn’t soothe the rashes. Instead it increases the rashes, if there is any! So don’t expect anything other than moderate moisturisation from this. It did nothing in improving skin texture or removing tan or something like that!
What I like-
- Pocket friendly
- Comes with a sturdy travel friendly packaging
- Very light on skin
- Gets absorbed quickly into the skin
- Smells nice
What I dislike-
- Doesn’t provide enough hydration for dry skin though it leaves a oily residue for some time
- Doesn’t soothe or heals the skin
- I think this makes my skin look mature! Yes I have observed it that when I am using other creams my face is looking more supple and fresh than this one!
- Doesn’t contain SPF so you need to apply a sunscreen separately on top of it.
