MY REVIEW

The brush simply comes in a slender rectangular packaging which is pretty transparent at the front and several information has been penned down on the opposite side. I really wish it had come with a cover or a case but all you need is to store it properly, away from dust. The brush isn’t very travel friendly due to the size but if you wish to travel with it, it has to be carried in a case. Despite of its size, it is light weight and quite handy to use. The finish hand hold is extremely good and great for the soft dusting for which it has to be used. The brush is part black and burnt orange in color while middle part of the brush has a curved hold which gives a good grip for application.

In general, whatever powder brush I have used so far has a round base with the fluffy outflow of the bristle. But this one has more of a tapered base with the fluffy outflow of the bristles, covering more areas for powdering. I feel this works great because it somehow prevent you from caking up too much powder in a single spot and allows you to evenly distribute and dust off from the face. The texture of the bristles are dreamy soft and beyond explanation. Thus, it makes a great powder brush for the skin. There isn’t a spec of roughness or scratchy feel to the skin and you will simply fall in love with the texture. The bristles are made of taklon which is synthetic and 100% cruelty-free. The trimming isn’t super careful or perfect I would say but perfectly designed for sure and the level of neatness is average. Therefore, the soft fibre which has ultra-plush and smoother texture helps you to create flawless high-definition finish. The density is colossal and that is also another thing to be loved about the brush. However, the firmness of the brush isn’t there at all.

I use the brush for both loose translucent ones as well as compact powder. Firstly, when you are using a foundation and then a powder to set it, it gives a very light finish without any cakey look on top of the foundation. I have also used this brush just baking method as well. The brush is huge so you can’t use it to apply the powder generously but for dusting away the excess – it is a delight to use. It really saves a lot of time when you are in a hurry and make the steps quick and easy. The brush might be big but due to the softness, it reaches out to every corner – like eyes, sides of the nose, etc. and dust off or applies powder while application. There are days when I simply apply a sunscreen and use compact powder or compact foundation for the face for a light makeup look and use this brush for it. I simply swirl on the compact, dust off the excess and apply all over the face for the minimal makeup look. It never loads too much on the face and keeps in simple yet eloquent.

Having used a month, I have washed it over 3-4times as I often see myself reach out to this every single day for powder application in summers. I always use a baby shampoo for cleaning and the brush, surprisingly, never shed a single bristle at all. This is the most impressive thing about any makeup brush and I loved the way it has transformed my technique of powder application without having a hint of cakey look.

OVERALL – A great powder brush with a softest bristles, made of taklon and 100% cruelty-free which helps you to give a precise application from dense coverage to a soft delicate finish.
