It’s me Shreya,
So today I woke up & the first thing that came into my mind was, ‘I’m so in the mood for Holiday makeup tutorial’. I just woke up and the first thing I saw was snow everywhere and glitter on my table. Waking up this way is not a normal thing for me because every day starts with working on planning things or completing my existing work. Trying different makeup is my day-to-day business I know but today I was so in the mood to come up with a glam makeup look that has a little bit of a twist – so winged liner, glowy skin, lashes, red lips but with a twist. I thought why not create my Halloween look which is not at all scary and can be used for winter as well.
For Halloween you can be as extravagant you want -Dramatic fake eyelashes, coloured contact lenses are still there. For me, I didn’t plan anything except the fact that I want the sparkling bindis(In many parts of India women wear bindis on daily basis in the center of our forehead). But I will highly recommend to take a rich palette eyeshadow and try multiple times to watch a few days before the party to help you avoid surprises.
Before we begin let me also share what happened TODAY, we welcomed our second snowfall and it was bit crazy because I guess St Louis never gets any snow before New York or New Jersey (or before December), anyway just the way I don’t know where my makeup-obsession came from similar I have no idea about my snow & winter obsession…
Alright the first thing I did was to prime my face, this is my favorite smashbox photo finish primer
For foundation my favourite at this moment I love Lancome
For Concealer: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser DArk Circle concealer. This does that just does a fine job of covering any darkness you have, and it doesn’t look awful when set with powder either. Just natural looking and comfortable.
Eye shadow palette: Morphe The Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette.
For my lid color I applied the green shimmery shade above. Outer corner I added the dark brown matte shade from this palette.
Eyeliner: Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
The final step for my eye-makeup is the lashes: For that, I used my Esquido lashes
I finished off this with a lot of setting spray bcoz we wanna lock this baby on its place.
That completes this classic holiday glam with a twist – Hashtag makeup tutorial – Hashtag I Don’t Know what to call this…
I had so much fun with this, I love that I woke up with this idea and it came out like I wanted to bcoz so many times I’ll have an idea, then I do my makeup and its completely different.
