Sky, Nature & Soul

When nature created it’s own masterpiece with Purple, Lavender and Pink clouds, what we saw in lake water was beyond stunning. We saw Lavender Sky ! To be specific I saw Lavender sky and then called everyone to enjoy the colors with me. It felt like the perfect first step to enter spring, to enjoy the art created by the Lord.

Finally spring is here, the time when nature fills the trees with colors and graceful flowers. You can easily get mesmerized in this beautiful art, even if you have zero artistic ability. Besides, this is an excellent time to enjoy beauty of changing seasons from your home.

I always love painting and colors, but this wonderful painting by the clouds and sun felt like magic, very Relaxing and Joyful at the same time. The pleasure of watching this stunning work of art is beyond description. It helped me to relax myself and decrease stress after work. That’s when I realized that I don’t need to have any basic skill to be happy and calm, just be MINDFUL and admire life.

I’ve always found that going out for a walk in nature makes me feel happier, and of course reduction in stress level may be a major part of the reason why.

Gregory Bratman, of Stanford University, has found evidence that nature may impact our mood in other ways. In an experiment, he and his colleagues assigned 60 participants to go for a 50-minute walk in either a natural setting (woods) or an urban setting (along a four-lane road). The end results showed that those who walked in nature experienced less anxiety and more positive emotions.

Life is so easy when you are connected to nature and admire the beauty this planet offers us. It’s easy to get caught up in the routine, and not to take time to look outside your window — for me, its going to class, gym, work, home, repeat. However, I always make sure I stop, pause and admire the sky and the green grass, my own personal understanding of the value of connection with nature. The sky, the water, the trees and the green grass can contribute to a greater sense of well-being and a lower degree of stress. Admiring Nature is Mindfulness and it will help us all break away from the stressful routine and be more in present.

Ultimately life is consciousness, life is awareness and that’s why it’s so beautiful !
