Everyone say Hello to September :-D
To me September means Fall… I don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for this month, I really like all the festive atmosphere ! September also means Shopping for new clothes from fall collections, managing vanity, styling new looks and looking GOOD ofcourse. All this is a full time job, Right ! And let’s be honest, most of us don’t have time to put any real time or effort into this. So we just use selected items that we know can never go wrong. But for me a lot depend on my mood – sometimes I like to keep it simple and sometimes I turn into experimental queen.
Anyway I’m happy September is here and in this post I’ll be telling you what I was loving in August. I had tons of beauty ( mostly makeup ) favorites to show you but had to select few that I used on daily basis, SO lets get right into it :) –
Olay Serum : The whole Serum thing is improving your skin texture. I have included Olay in my daily skin care routine and my skin looks better than before. I am currently obsessed with finding different skincare products for myself and others, and this product will definitely suit lot of ladies. Read all about facial serums HERE…..Happy Skin-CARing !
Benefit POREfessional Primer : The only primer I’ve been using and loving in this month is POREfessional. For complete review and details click HERE. It is my ultimate pore minimizing primer and has that silky feel to it that gives you a perfect smooth base.
Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream : You must have probably seen this one on my homepage. I just love it and use it daily. It is a typical CC cream which has light to medium coverage but gives me a lovely natural finish for my everyday makeup look. The texture is lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on skin. I read some negative reviews that it doesn’t suit oily skin type but with powder, it worked really well in holding up. Go check out HERE
The Balm NUDEtude Palette : In August I tried no new eyeshadow brand but created hell lot of makeup looks using just The Balm palette. NUDEtude has equal amount of light and deep shades which in my book is must have. You can find a shade for every occasion , from a lunch meeting to a wedding. One of my favorite part about this palette is that every shade is usable, so if I see this palette again anywhere I’ll buy it right then and there! Review and looks coming soon :-) yayyy
The Body Shop CARBON EYE DEFINER : This month I was wearing a lot of eye makeup and loved to tight line with TBS Carbon eyeliner pencil. It’s little pricier than I like, but is way longer than other brands. It is perfect for sensitive eyes ! It smudges onto my upper lid but works really well on my waterline. Maybe a detailed review is needed !
MAC Painterly Paint Pot : August means monsoon and humidity comes free of cost with it, that doesn’t mean no makeup. I love wearing eyeshadows. This Pot makes your eyeshadow to last longgg, whatever brand you’re wearing it can may any eyeshadow last longer. You can say goodbye to creasing forever if you’re using MAC paint pot. Must have for eyeshadow lovers like me. Stay tuned for complete review and how to !
MUA Pro-Base Fixing Mist : I was happily surprised with the results because I never used a setting spray before.
Some products are worth your money and when I look at this makeup setting spray I totally get that ‘money well spent’ feeling. For me the best way to make a foundation last all day long is a good setting mist. This one gives me “dewy” natural finish. What more could you want?
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder : I have a typical oily skin which breaks out quite often. For me this one works well in every season from winter to summer. Some Pressed Powders make your skin look dry and the powdery finish settle into wrinkles, making them more obvious. My makeup tends to slip off quite easily during summer and monsoon time but thanks to Rimmel Stay Matte it remains in tact from morning to night. That’s why its very famous too ! I guess :-D
Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm : I turned into Matte Balm devotee this August. I did find more interesting lip-colors for special ocassions but for everyday wear Matte Balm Sultry really made me look good. To read more about Matte Balm Elusive click here.
Maybelline Lipgloss : For me a great and easy way to look glamorous is a red lipgloss. Nothing can beat a highly pigmented cherry red lipgloss like this one. Get all pictures and details HERE.
Nail Polish : Maybelline Glitter Mania (Bling on the Blue) and Essie Nail Color (Fishnet Stockings ) are seriously unique and hard to describe colors. I loved using them beat the monsoon blues. Ftom both the nail colors you can achieve full coverage is just one coat . I like such products which don’t waste my time :-p
Share your recent beauty favorites with me :-)
