My Experience

Lemon is one of the most important ingredients used to make cleansers in olden days. Looks like Clean and Clear used the same age-old concept and brought back the goodness of lemon in their latest face wash.

This new face wash formulated with lemon extract and vitamin C which is the reason I wanted to try it. When someone like me, who has spent entire childhood admiring my grandma’s beautiful DIY face cleansers using lemon, sees a product that has lemon as the key ingredient you know the purchase is kinof a emotional one.

I’ve been using this for over a week now and I can tell you that this lemon gel wash really cuts through the oil and makes your skin feel clean and soft.  It also did make my skin look refreshed and clean by removing oil and makeup (I always use makeup removing wipe to remove makeup first). It didn’t dry out my skin like some oil-removing face cleansers do. I can still see few of my small angry spots around my jaw even after using this for two weeks, but I’m not expecting this facewash to do anything about my acne. I’m very happy that Clean & Clear didn’t advertise it as a acne face wash. I use this face wash mostly in the morning and use my Clarins face-wash at night. I’m still not sure it something like perfect face-wash exist. Cleansers and moisturizers should be purchased based on your skin-texture, location, lifestyle and weather.

This face wash has a nice lemon fragrance and it won’t make you smell like lemons I assure you
